The pulp and paper industry is an energy-intensive industry. In combination with a high degree of safety and availability, we produce electricity and steam at the site using combined heat and power generation in our own power plant. In addition to efficient power generation, the focus is constantly on the two paper machines for paper production and their auxiliary systems with the clear goal of continuously increasing efficiency. The integrated management system with energy management certification according to ISO 50001 supports and documents our sustainable actions.
Outside our organization, we are actively involved and maintain contact with the associations of the paper industry as well as with the ChePap II energy network.
